Announcement from owner Ken McGee:

As some of you may already know, I managed to sell all my automotive literature to people in Nebraska. That was quite a load off my shoulders.

Then, quite unexpectedly a man from Mt. Forest walked in saying how much he had always admired my shop, and asked if I would consider selling it. I told him what I had been told what its value was, which was higher than I had thought, and he just stuck out his hand and said "I'm comfortable with that and you can keep the North end back section (1750 sq. ft, for the next 5 years so that you will have a space for your cars and personals." And he bought my building. Simple as that! The deal closes in October, 2024.

In the meantime, we have been packing stuff, throwing out stuff, selling off stuff and donating tons of material to local charities St. Vincent de Paul and Habitat for Humanity.

An auction is scheduled with Kidd auction company that culminates Nov. 8, 2024. It will feature a large auction remaining collectibles including a good selection of toys.
