1959 Cadillac 62 Series Convertible

California car with 70095 actual miles. Full power equipment. Original paint, original convertible roof. Interior panels and dash are original. Seats were redone because of leather cracking. They were professionally done by RM in Chatham, Ontario at a cost of $17,000. Absolutely beautiful and done to original style and appearance. Radial whitewalls. Restored to original California car!  Driven only 3267 miles since.  Refinished to its original striking color combination which is quite rare. Harvest Gold and India Ivory which always came with a subtle green interior. All codes match the original data plate. This '55 Chevy looks and drives so nice it's hard to believe its over 67 years old. 

265 V8 V8 engine and powerglide automatic transmission, power steering and brakes plus power windows and seat. Always resided in western high desert and the  last 35 years is San Diego. No rust repair, underneath you can still see the original red oxide paint on the factory floor pans as in the photos. The owner would not drive in the rain. 1976 Cadillac Fleetwood Eldorado Convertible

Only 14,000 of these magnificent automobiles were ever built, and it was to be the last true North-American convertible. This car also has the last of the 500ci 8.2L V8 engines!
This car is finished in a stunning Brentwood Brown metallic with tan top and tan leather interior.
The paint, chrome, interior, top, bumper extension filler panels, drivability, air conditioning, and 8-track AM/FM radio are all in as-new condition.

Rare sweepspear side trim available on the convertible only after June of 1949.

This is our baby and it's not for sale. We have owned this car for 37 years. It has the 320 cu. In, 150 h.p. straight 8 engine with luxurious smooth Dynaflow transmission. It weighs 4370lbs and rides on a 126" wheelbase. There were only 8244 built, and the cost new was $3150.00. It's finished in Sequoia Cream with a rich red leather interior and a black Haartz cloth top.

The popularity and value of this model, in this color, soared with the movie Rain Man. I have seen people at Buick shows walking around with a placard around their neck saying they wanted to buy a '49 Roadmaster convertible -- they are that popular.

Its actual documented mileage as of April 2021 is just 42325 miles. 

My wife said she would leave me if I ever sold this car, and since she has been my bride for 62 years, I had better hang on to this car!

1952 Packard Patrician 400 Sedan

1318 ACTUAL MILES DRIVEN SINCE NEW!

Bought new by Meyer E. Ponteprino of Anaheim California in Dec of 1951. Purchased from Les Thompson's Packard dealership in Fullerton California. We have the thank-you letter from Earle C. Anthony Inc. of Los Angeles, who was the Packard distributor for all of California, thanking Mr. Ponteprino for his purchase.

This top of the line Packard is equipped with an Ultramatic transmission and features a 327 cu.in. 155HP straight eight engine. Also standard was Packard's EASAMATIC POWER BRAKES. 

Total production of this model was 3795 units. Packard claimed in its ads that this was the "most luxurious car in the world."

 

One day Mr. Ponteprino left church on a Sunday morning to discover someone had broken the new power antenna off of his car. He was so horrified that any person would do that to his beloved new Packard, especially while at church, that he drove it home and put it up on blocks. The antenna was replaced, and he started cleaning the car regularly, but there it sat in his garage -- and when he passed away in 1997, his family still kept the car.

Amazingly, the Packard still has its original General Whiteway tires with the spare still new in the trunk. The jack is still in its box in the trunk as well.

The car's interior is absolutely like new. The chrome and stainless have held up well and the grille still has its coat of a gold-tinted spray-on called "defense chrome" - as chrome plating was limited in 1952 because of the Korean war. The all original black paint still has a great deep shine. The engine compartment has its expected surface patina which judges in a Preservation Class show appreciate. The car has its original issued California plates still on it. 

The original brochure he got when looking at the car, owners guide, radio manual, and many more original pieces go with this car.

A car enthusiast purchased the car in 2016 from the family, and in 2021 he sold all his cars. When I heard of this one-of-a-kind Packard, I immediately purchased it.

The car starts easily. The transmission was smooth as silk when I drove it around the block from 1317 miles to its present 1318. The tires smoothed out some in that short run as well.

While it could easily be put back into use and driven, I fell it should go to someone as a rare piece of Packard History. There simply is no other Packard with this amazing history and mileage.

1949 Cadillac Coupe de Ville. First year of GM's pillarless 2-door hardtop model and the first year for the all new 331 cu.in. California car. 160hp overhead valve V8. Because of a later-in-year introduction, just 2150 of these cars were built. It was named Motor Trend car of the year. It had a 126" wheelbase and came with power windows, seat and antenna. It sold new for $3497.00. It is finished in Triumph Blue with a horizon blue roof. The interior is pale plain broadcloth with grey leather trim and bolsters. Just stunning! It is immaculate inside and out and drives like the champ it is. This car is a national senior first prize winner! And guess what! the power antenna, the radio, the clock and the speedometer all work!

Equipped with its flathead 6 cylinder engine which develops 112 hp, fluid drive semi-automatic transmission, push button radio, clock, fog lamps, wheel trim rings, signal lights, and added seat belts for safety while driving.

It is finished in a gorgeous deep Royal Maroon and has a grey and dark red tutone cloth interior which is immaculate. The large plastic steering wheel has no cracks in it. It is very clean under the hood. The detailed trunk has a leather valise full of any parts that might be required on a long tour. The very hard-to-find original owners manual is in the glove box. This is a comfortable 6 passenger car that starts at a touch of its button and runs smooth and quiet. One of DeSoto cars main appearance items in this period was the rainfall grille. It and all the rest of the chrome and stainless is perfect.

Car has a slight mar in the rt. rr. fender, not very noticeable. The rest of the finish is amazing.
